Kelcey came to mortgage banking after spending almost a decade in the fields of education and social service. She is keenly interested in explaining the process, and focuses a great deal of her professional attention on the purchase market - specifically first time home buyers, for whom all things "mortgage" are new and potentially confusing. She is a strong proponent of prudent, community-centric lending products such as FHA (Federal Housing Administration) and VA (Veterans' Administration) insured mortgages, USDA 100% financing, MassHousing, and HomeReady/HomePossible loans - mortgages that, when extended honestly and responsibly, increase the percentage of owner occupancy and improve the communities where they are issued. She is passionately driven to eradicate racism, homophobia, and other prejudicial systemic forces that maintain inequity and financial oppression. She maintains a network of like-minded real estate agents, attorneys, and other financial professionals.
Kelcey works in all of Massachusetts. She lives in Boston, traveling frequently to all counties in the state. She is able to work electronically or in person, 7 days per week. Prequalification and formal, fully underwritten preapprovals are available at no charge.
