Who is Blue Horseshoe? Sounds like a Native American trader. I wonder if he is at Greenwich Capital.
on
I think it's one of the "Lucky Charms." My Total talks to me, so I'm on board. Not to mention the market and government indicators.

I am Trading Places with jdeyber and putting my money in orange juice....

Boo Yaah! Here we go.

Its also quoted as hating oil and gold back in May... What were they thinking? Oil only skyrocketed the next three months.

Isn't Blue Horseshoe owned by gordon Gecko?

MBS are looking good, but the big question is will lenders pass that along to originators and consumers?

Assuming the rates improve, should I lock?
on
Adam and Matt are too classy to point this out, but I'm not! Did anyone else notice the blinking link on the right that says Citi is hiring? Interesting, huh?
on
After locking this weekend I must say to myself... "it is better to lock when you should have floated, than floated when you should have locked" My lender looks like 1/4 to 1/2 better than Friday. I will pray for similar results at the beginning of April when I can float down.
on
Citi is hiring, but what? Work out specialists? REO specialists?
on
That is a good one. I think CITI is looking for a TARP Manager.
on
TBW has opened up worse. strange. Wells and US bank are slightly better
on
Yep, that's exactly why I pointed it out. Workout specialists and REO specialists and a TARP Manager. Oh yeah, they are also looking for UWs, processors, closers, and post closing specialists also.

Float Boat is sailing again!!!!

Well since Citi has doubled my interest rate on three credit cards over the past two months, which I understand they have done to plenty of others, perhaps they are hiring for people to field those calls... one can only listen to grumpy cardholders for so long. Oh wait, all my people said they were in India. Do you suppose a relocation package is available?
on
Sellers still sleeping, Wait for it.... Wait for it.....

Patrick, I was like WTF, Citi is hiring? Aren't they on the verge of bankruptcy. I had to look deeper. 459 jobs in fact, but what kind. Looks like a vast majority are "Senior Branch Account Executive -(Customer Sales & Service) "

... with job responsibilities:

"The Senior Branch Account Executive's key responsibilities include selling loans and insurance products, making recommendations of credit worthiness, closing the sale, recommending solutions to difficult delinquent accounts, performing administrative tasks (such as cash drawer management, answer telephones, routine typing, order supplies and pay bills), and servicing accounts."

Interesting, especially as Adam and Matt have kept saying these companies have been hiring to prepare for a refi boom..

on
Not getting rate sheets and the ones I am getting are not showing any gains passed through...we are going to have to maintain some momentum to see any benefit from these rallies.....
on
Floating boat should not be sailing right now. Jump ship and lock while you can. I would rather look back and see I could have made more money, than look back and see that I lost all my money.
on
Anthony K. Thank for the Post I bailed the Float Boat Last Night when breaking news said the Aggregate Bank was off the table for now and a last minute reprice came along. Pres OB reinforced the off the table Agg Bank in his speech. Do I believe in 4.5% Mortgage Rate? Yes I just don't have the luxury of waiting any more. Good Luck to Jon K. and Thanks to Everyone Here
