"I am not a jumbo. I am getting quoted 5% with 1% origination on a 95% LTV. I am normally a fairly risk tolerant person, but after watching my potential interest rate roll up from 4.675 to 5.75 and back down to 5.00 I am comfortable with 5. Seems like a fair deal. "Robert. I am closing in 30 days. I am trying to lock today with a "free" float down option. My real estate agent has given me the same advice as a lot of the people here give. If you are happy with your rate lock it. Personally I would be more upset if the rates went up .25 than if they went down .125."    View Comment
