I have a strange one here.  My client called me last night and said he heard that FHA is providing up to $25,000 to a FTHB to help buy a house.  I immediatly told him I have not heard of that; you may be talking about the tax credit that may go up to $15,000 this year and you may not have to pay it back.

He said that was not it and he called FHA and they told him to contact his lender???

My first thought is that this can not be true but who knows in today's environment.

Has anyone heard of such a thing.

Going the extra mile is my normal route, even with today's gas prices.
