1.  Start a petition, obtain 100 premium members signatures.

2.  Write a 1000 word essay on how the selling or buying of MBS' affect the daily mortgage rates.

3.  Have Matt Graham grade your essay and if he says you are 100% correct then start and post a Blog with the information.

4.  If Matt Graham say's "you really don't know what you are talking about", you must start over but this time write a 2000 word essay and again have it graded by Matt Graham.

5.  See number 3

6.  Answer 100 WiKi questions that are published.

7.  You must become a full member within the first 5 days of joining.

8.  You must maintain as a top 10% contributor for at least 30 days.

9.  Post your real name on the site.

10.  Upload your real picture in to the site.

11.  Post your company information on your signature line.

12.  Be super nice to Glenn Setzer, maybe offer to take him out to a lobster and steak diner; if that does not work give him $10,000 in an envelope under the table.

13.  If all this fails, then too bad.  You are out of luck my friend.

My guess is that you need to have more than 2 posts, both asking to become a moderator.

That's an impressive list of requirements.  I like it.

Moderators will be selected based on a variety of factors:  community contributions, trust within the community, activity level, etc.  This is something we'll be doing very shortly, hopefully next week.
