My FHA mortgage was being serviced by Taylor Bean and Whitaker. On August 31 I was told that the FDIC gave my loan away to Bank of America. I had been making my mortgage payments via ACH every two weeks; and have bank statements to prove those payments were made. Bank of America refuses to recognize those payments and required me to double pay August and September. Since BOA is not recognizing the payments to Taylor Bean and Whitaker, they have increased my escrow payments. My monthly mortgage payment increased by $200. Is there no one who can stop these predatory business practices? I have not been able to find a governmental entity who oversees this kind of activity.
Bank of America is regulated by the Office of the Comptroller of Currency (OCC).
Contact the Office of the Comptroller of Currency (OCC) here: http://helpwithmybank.gov/ or call (800) 613-6743
Also, here is good info on the escrow accounts and the dispute process: http://www.hud.gov/offices/hsg/sfh/res/resp2605.cfm and http://www.hud.gov/offices/hsg/sfh/res/respafaq.cfm and http://www.hud.gov/offices/hsg/sfh/res/reslettr.cfm
Thank you.

Yes... I live in Maple Grove and work out of Roseville. I hope she has enjoyed the snow we've already had this year.
