Is it possible to close on the purchase of a home that has no kitchen, no furnace and no hot water tank using a conventional loan?

I would check with some local brokers about the FHA 203K program.

You would need some sort of construction loan or other financing to complete the home by having those items installed.  Once the home is complete, you could obtain conventional financing.
