Which is a better place to work? BofA retail or Amerisave?

    Hey guys,

I got an offer from both of these places.  BofA has the name brand, jumbo programs, etc.  Amerisave will set me up at home and feed me live calls and leads everyday.  Both places sounded good at the interview but you know how that is.

Wanted some advice and suggestions from anyone that have worked at either places or any good insights will be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    PS: I live in California.

I worked for Bank of America Home Loans in WA, until I switched to a Joint Venture between Bank of America and a Local RE company.  What I can tell you is that they are building their retail lending model from the old Countrywide model; they purchased CW in July 2008 and have recently completed customer day 1 for this merger.

This is a big corporation that is well run and highly considerate of your productivity as well as process stability.  They apply Six Sigma methodology to most of their business processes and require a great deal of activity tracking.  The upsides in my view to working for the organization are the brand and the fact that they work to drive business to you.

I don't know what to tell you about Amerisave, but I enjoy originating here.

    Best to you,
