How can I tell if Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac was the underwriter of my loan? The servicer of my loan Bank of American Corporation told me they can not provide me that information.

Fannie Mae is usually conventional and Freddie Mac is for FHA. Did you go conventional or FHA and that should help.

These 2 links will help you determine if your house is owned by either agency. Be sure that the address you input on the site is exactly how it shows up for US Postal route.
