TBW is all I have right now...I would like two more, anyone having good success with anyone else?

Oh yeah, I forgot about them.  It's been over a year since I've funded anything with them, and I'm not getting their rate sheets anymore, so I'll have to see if I'm active with them.  I generally put CW in the same category that I had  WAMU wholesale - good riddance - ya know what I mean?

CWBC has some niches that can be useful.  They accept 1 day off the market for both r/t and c/o refis.

To my knowledge, TBW and CW are the only options. Neither of them are easy to deal with, so I am very reluctant to take on manufacturing housing at this time.

Like you, I have not funded anything with CW in a year, so my account was disabled, I called them to re-establish, but was told they were not accepting new brokers, so good luck!

Obviously things have changed since your post was published....the biggest being that TBW is gone.  I work for CountryPlace Mortgage out of Dallas Texas.  We have both a wholesale and retail department specializing in FHA and Conforming Conventional manufactured home financing.  We also have the ability to do a one time close.

Suntrust Mortgage, Platinum Mortgage, Guild Mortgage and American Financial Resources.  Also, United Wholesae just added MFG to their portfolio.  ALL lenders have tight ratios and larger down payments.  Some go FHA but won't allow for non occuping co borrowers.

I have not heard of Sunwest or Platinum....are they regional players and do they have any decent pricing?  For purchases you need to be in the ballpark at least of .50 point of stickbuilt.

We offer manu through Wells retail....I am assuming that our wholesale side does not?

Sunwest is at www.swmc.com.  You do need to get a log and pass to check rates.  Typically .50% higher in market price.  Platinum Mortgage is based out of Tacoma WA and just found them last week so don't know a web address yet
