I was using Brian Sack's company (8 page printed, snail mailed) but grew disappointed with the content.  I know that, now more than ever, we need to stay in regular contact with our database.  What's working for you?

Thanks Gary.  Do you think email is superior to snail (setting aside cost)?

Quite a few people in my office use http://www.intouchtoday.com/ - we've had good luck with just sending a recipe postcard every month.

Going the extra mile is my normal route, even with today's gas prices.

Thanks Kent, I'll check that one out too.  I've heard mixed things about email marketing, it's so easy to just hit delete before they even look at your content.

When I was at First Horizon we used the recipe cards - I had not idea intouch offers that service! People loved it. Brian in my mind email is a good cost effective way to stay in front of people. With that being said I still think you need something else to truly capture an audience in addittion to mass emails. I also write a bi weekly blog on market events housing news that my database seems to enjoy.

I was using Hot Lead Machine until they faltered last October.  I switched to Stoneybrook Publishing (http://www.dcmspec.com/).  Content is decent and the look, the same but for my database I still want a hardcopy newsletter going out and I haven't been able to find another company that I can outsource the printing, labeling and mailing to at a reasonable cost.  It also allows you to customize a portion of the newsletter which was important to me.  On top of that, they're extremely accomodating in working with your mailing lists and changes.

If you call the 800 # ask for Chuck Sims-good guy.
