This scenario is for myself. My family and I are preparing to move back to the States after spending the last 4 years in Canada(wife is Canadian). My credit took a beating before I left, but I've managed to clear most of the issues up. Last I checked, my mid score was 650. However, I haven't had any revolving credit since I left in 2008. The issue that I anticipate is Job History. I won't have any down there, so I think my only option will be a Hard Money Lender. I was hoping that I could get some referrals for reputable Hard Money Lenders. Used 50% DTI, because I had to input a number. We will have 50% down, with plenty of reserves in Investments and Cash. Just don't know if Hard Money Lenders work around the lack of Employment history. Any help is appreciated.
