I never posted anything about taking it easy on Luskin, but i have posted about Schiff being a nut, i mean a lifelong bear, i mean a pessimist, etc...

I would definitely put Schiff in the same boat as Ron Paul.

Yeah, i watched the 2002 videos that Vic posted and he definitely "missed the boat" back then.  Only way to defend it at that point is to apply his logic to the LONG term.  He was about 4 years early on his calls in 2002.

I think he underestimated how big the government could inflate the bubble and prolong the burst...However, if they heeded his(and others, he's not by far the only one) advise and made changes, he would have been proven totally wrong but then they would have to do the right thing during an economic boom, wasn't happenin'...Like fraud on a loan, nobody cares until the poo hits the fan than it's like "OMG, how could this happen?!?!"...

Whoa!  If I didn't know any better, I'd say we have quite the economic thinker on our hands here!

He was off by more then 4 years, he was making those claims even before, but like i said in that post i didnt want to keep looking cause the more i listen to him, the more i want to jump off the highest building i can find.  Good thing my house is only 1 story..

I don't much about Geithner, but for the simple reason he worked for the Fed, how hard do you think he will rock the boat...I also blame the Fed for much of our problems so anyone attached to it, IMHO, is so much a part of the problem, they would have to admit they were totally inept to fix it...

Anytime a crisis hits, it ismy opinion that the priorities should be in this order: 1) Fix the problem 2) Learn from the problem 3) Find who was at fault
