I now get $117 per month. And it goes up about abouy $2 ever year. It started out at about $75. I have a 10% disability. 9 or 10 years regular Navy '73 - '82, disabled viet nam error veteran...

Thank you for your kind words to the current and former members of the armed services. I gave myself the day off yesterday in recognition of my service... LOL.

Edit: disabled viet nam error veteran... LOL. Although many think the nam was a mistake and many errors were made, I don't think anyone calls it the Viet Nam Error. (Viet Name Era). Freudian slip... Subliminal slip?

Thanks for your service and remember that you are exempted from the VA funding fee by virtue of the VA disability.

Interesting fact I heard on the radio on my way to work today.

There is a company out there that offers some phenomenal benefits to our citizen soldiers in the National Guard and Reserves.  They will pay the difference between their employee's civilian pay and military pay when their employee is called to active duty.  All medical, dental, and other insurances remain in place.  These benefits will extend for tours up to 60 months!!!!
