What are considered good cigars?

How much?

Where can I get them? What other stuff do I need to buy with it?

I haven't smoked a cigar in about 8-10 years.

Any Macanudo is good, cost between $6.50 and about $15.00 per cigar, get a good cigar cutter and cigar lighter.

Any good quality Brandy or Cognac goes well with a cigar.

I smoke cigars daily.  It's my last vice.

I find the best brand of cigars for the money are Rocky Patel's.  Avo Uvezian and Avo XO's  are also among my favorites.  Recently I have been smoking CAO Box Pressed Brazilia's. I'm constantly exploring different cigars and I am rarely disappointed as long as I stay with a reputable  supplier.

Because you have not smoked a cigar in many years, I would recommend going to a good cigar shop and talking to the tobacconist.  Pick something mild, the Macanudo mentioned above is a good starting point.  The Macanudo is also usually available in a tube to help keep it fresh if you don't have a humidor. 

If there isn't a cigar shop nearby, check out Thompson Cigars online.  They have a large selection from which you can choose.

Hey Robert! If you don't mind a drive, you can drive north of Charlotte to Statesville at JR and get good cigars cheap. Email me and I'll shoot you directions. It's staright up I-77. You can also try McCranies at the corner of Park and Woodlawn in Charlotte.

Some of my favorites: Cohiba, La Gloria De Cubana, Avo, and The Griffins. All range from $5-$15.

What??!! I've never heard that before. Mary Jane in Cuban cigars? I think that may be a myth. I've only had the luck of smoking one Cuban cigar, and I'm pretty sure it was all tobacco.....I think.....

Start with the Robusto size, it's good for 45 minutes or so, and you don't feel bad about stubbing out 6 inches of unsmoked cigar!

my local store Lowe's sells them...and I think Harris Teeter does as well
