It comes as no surprise to me that "Intentional Communities" are sprouting up. Here in America people are cold and complacent unless they know and like you. They like to find and stay within a clique point blank. It's sad that America is not an "Intentional Nation". I wonder if Heaven has Communes?...

I'm very pleased to see that this kind of intentional housing is being dicussed again and in different ways. I am in the financing end I would like to know are there developers and contractors that specifically like these kinds of projects and how do I reach them. Along with other Lenders and including multifamily, Agri farm and as well land purchase.

As a Coho/US boardmember, I'd just like to thank you for the story (who's the author?) and update your figures: we now estimate that there are 93 built communities in the US and 107 in development (including in early stages of formation). I'm a Northern California organizer specializing in Aging In Community, helping people create both senior cohousing and intergenerational communities, and helping people understand the aging process and build support systems in communities to support it.
