Or they are still living in a home that needs repairs.  They don&amp;#39;t have the money to repair or are waiting (hoping) to get some help from their  insurance or FEMA. Which seems far away.   Preforclosure may have started or was going to start.  They have a mortgage on a home they can&amp;#39;t pay for, can&amp;#39;t sell  due to value decrease, damage or it doesn&amp;#39;t even exist anymore.  The bank says they&amp;#39;ll wait to April to foreclose to give them time.  Time to do what? It&amp;#39;s not going to get any better anytime soon.
