And this is not a financial problem; it is a public health concern. Several cable networks have reported over the last few weeks that the

RE:Foreclosures Loom as Possible Public Health Menace

don't worry, baby boom not sustainable. it was spurred by all those people moving into empty new houses with 3-4 bedrooms. i would expect a big dropoff in births the next couple of years as they are foreclosed/sales slow down, so the run-rate will remain relatively unchanged.

RE:Foreclosures Loom as Possible Public Health Menace

Let’s face it. Most of those homes which were allegedly purchased during the housing boom three years ago were in fact leased for five years with 120% financing. The epidemic would be worse had the banks not allowed those so called buyers to remain living in the foreclosed properties rent free. Don’t be surprised to learn that the neighbor who moved next to you two years ago is moving out after living for free for at least one year because he or she lost the house a year ago.

RE:Foreclosures Loom as Possible Public Health Menace

Wide spread credit issues will effect and have effected other areas that we haven't even seen yet. There were over 5 Million babies born last year from stats that I have read. A baby boom one article titled it. Presumably some of these people's homes went into foreclosure, especially in California. So what will happen to the school districts that have lost major enrollments due to the credit crisis due to people loosing their home(s) that are now living with relatives or parents. How will the Government take care of old schools. And then, on top of that, how will the Government plan for the population boom over the next 4-5 years for population expansion in areas that were most likely, traditionally, retirement areas, where most of these foreclosed home owners are probably living now? Government census, what census???

RE:Foreclosures Loom as Possible Public Health Menace

Bloodsuckers making more bloodsuckers...what's the big surprize?
