I am seeing all the down to 3.25% on rate sheets for the 30/30 fixed. The points are high and spreads are wide, as you said, but it appears to be moving in the right direction...lower rates.

Somewhere between none and almost none. But I suppose that would have been a more informative answer on Friday afternoon since we now pretty much have this morning's market action confirming the slide.

Well written, "let's put all of this week into a broader context" commentary is helpful. Seeing red is never enjoyable during the day, but put into perspective, ongoing green isn't healthy for lock desk nor sustainable. Big picture - rates are fantastically low - lock, close, reload

Yes. Rates this week were 3.12% reported at the 123 Refinance. The lowest they’ve been in 40 years. A homeowner could refinance or purchase a home at a 30-year fixed rate of 3.12%. That is amazing!

Right now, the mortgage rates are so low that you might be able to refinance with a 15-year fixed-rate loan, thus escaping the debt trap faster than you might have originally planned, while also cutting your monthly loan payment. The icing on the cake is the outrageous amount of interest you will avoid paying. I have used only 123 Refinance to find rates
