10-year Treasury yield rises to highest in a month
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Treasury prices fell Tuesday, sending the 10-year note yield to its highest in a month ahead of a round of government debt sales. The benchmark note yield rose 2 basis points on the day to 2.631%, its highest since May 12, according to Tradeweb. The 30-year bond yield rose 1.5 basis points to 3.465% and the 5-year note yield rose 1.5 basis points to 1.697%. The Treasury Department will conduct a trio of debt sales this week, including a $28 billion sale of 3-year notes at 1 p.m. Eastern.
