Wife and I are signing a contract tomorrow to build a new house. The build process is suppose to take 6-8 months. It's hard to read because this bill updates the current policy so it's not laid out. But as I understand it if you stay in the home over 36 months you don't have to pay back the credit. Unlike people who bought last year will have to pay back $500 a year for 15 years, zero interest.
