bad mortgage deal in tennessee

I HAVE A PROPERTY THATS WAS DEEDED OVER TO ME THERE WAS AN EXISTING MORTGAGE THAT WAS BEHIND. I AGREED TO MAKE PAYMENTS TO BRING THE NOTE CURRENT THEN THE ORIGINAL OWNER DEDICED TO BACK OUT AND WOULD NOT SEND PAYMENTS TO MORTGAGE COMPANY? PROPERTY IS IN FORECLOSURE WHAT SHOULD I DO? I WAS TOLD BY A FRIEND IF I MAKE PYMTS NOW THERE IS A CHANCE THE BANK WILL RETURN THE MONEY TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND WE A NOT ON GOOD TERMS.

Need to consult a real estate attorney asap. I would not make any more payments on a property that you probably won't be a part of.
