Hello, my name is Victor Burek and thank you for checking out my profile. First a little about myself. I currently reside in Plano, Texas but I am originally from Roanoke, Virginia . I attended college and graduated from Virginia Tech in 1991 and I am very proud to be a Hokie. I have been married for just over 4 years to my wife, Sara, who is pictured with me on my posts. We are the proud parents of 2 dogs, Hokie and Jesse and a cat named Squeekers.

My mortgage career started in late 2003 when a friend of mine asked me to come work for him. At that time we were a standalone mortgage broker, but in late 2007 we decided to become a net branch of Benchmark Mortgage. We have since moved over to Open Mortgage of Austin, Texas. In 2008, I was recognized as one of the top producers for the entire company. In 2006, I furthered my mortgage education by getting certified through the Certified Mortgage Planning Institute. The training I received has helped me to better educate my clients on properly structuring their mortgage to fit their short term and long term financial goals.

I spend time every day learning all I can about the ins and outs of the mortgage industry. It is important to me to learn all I can so I may provide my clients the best advice for their mortgage goals. I have the ability to do loans in most states, but I prefer to specialize and only do Texas loans.
