John has served as Senior VP of Sales at Mortgage Financial since 1990. Over the past twenty-five years originating mortgages, he has personally funded over 8900 loans with dollar volume exceeding $1.93 billion. For 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2008, John made Mortgage Originator’s Top 200 list, which recognizes the leading 200 loan originators in the country. This April he was named by Scotsman Guide as the 37th top producing loan officer in the country on the 2010’s Top 200 list He has averaged over $100 million in closed loan volume over the last ten years. In 1998, John received the “Leaders Making A Difference” Award from Bankers & Tradesman for best representing the entrepreneurial, technological, and humanistic side of performing business in Massachusetts. John has been featured as an industry leader in Mortgage Originator, Loan Toolbox Talk to the Experts, Mortgage Market Guide, American Banker, Originator Network News, and Broker Magazine. John is also a faculty member at Mortgage Success Source. John received a Bachelor of Science in Economics cum laude from the University of Michigan in 1985. He and his wife, Laurie, live in Wenham with their three children, Matthew, Nicholas, and Lauryn and spends winter weekends skiing with his family at Black Mountain in Jackson NH where he has a second home.
