My nine years in the mortgage industry taught me two things. First, the mortgage industry is doing it wrong. Second, too many Americans are struggling to achieve the American dream.
As an industry, we have the worst value proposition imaginable. We've actual taught our clients to be mis-trustful of us. As a result, our industry has been commoditized and consumers look for a mortgage based solely on rate. That has created a cottage industry of products and services which promise to distinguish the Loan Originator in some fashion or another so as to make it "look" like they are different than everyone else.
I am on a mission to bring change to the mortgage industry by redefining and re-inventing the origination process.
