Russell has 37 years of financial management and advisory experience. Most recently he was Managing Director of Prescient, Inc. where he led project teams for USDA, HUD, ICE, CUNA and SBA, and secured more than $400 million in federal government contracts. Earlier he served as president and CEO of DRS Realty Services/Crown NorthCorp, a financial services firm specializing in management of distressed real estate loans and special servicing, where he restructured $4 billion of housing financed through FHA and the GSEs. Russell also has served in the national commercial lending division of WMF as well as with Arthur Andersen & Co. LLP; McLean Funding Corporation; and Perpetual Federal Savings. He holds a bachelors degree from Methodist University of North Carolina and graduated University of North Carolina School of Law.
