My name is Jason York, and I am the Vice President of VA Operations for the Williamsburg Branch of Prime Mortgage Lending, Inc. I have been a Mortgage Broker/Lender for about four years, after 5 years in the Car Sales Business, and leaving as a Sales and Finance Manager. With my first child on the way, the mortgage industry allowed me to spend more time with my family, but still afforded me the opportunity to grow and use my finance and sales knowledge. Coming into the mortgage industry, I learned how to write and process loans the right way, and I know how to close a loan from start to finish. I have taken every opportunity to add to my knowledge about the industry and to make sure I am up to date on all of my lenders guidelines. What sets me apart from other lenders is my level of communication that I offer to everyone involved in the loan process. Whether it be a Realtor or closing company, everyone is included in the updates as to how the file is proceeding. I also give out my cell phone number to everyone involved, so that I can be reached at any time. For your loan, I strive to make sure we are getting a loan that is right for you, not what I think is right for you. I will only do a loan if it makes sense for you, and that you will have some level of benefit. I would rather turn away a loan, then to put one of my customers in a bad loan that will come back to hurt them in the future. My family is the most important thing to me, and I know my customer*s families are the most important thing to them, which is why I make sure everything is done properly to make sure your family is safe and ready to move into your new home.
