Gary Cunningham was the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Regulatory Affairs at HUD where he led the successful efforts to develop and implement the RESPA reform rule and GFE and HUD-1 that become effective January 1, 2010. Cunningham directed the regulatory programs of the Office of Housing and FHA including policy formulation, rulemaking and enforcement nationally of RESPA and the SAFE Act. Cunningham is leading The Collingwood Group’s regulatory and compliance practice.
