I started in the mortgage industry 6 years ago when a friend of mine told me that she's has falling behind making copy packages at her parent's mortgage company. I was currently temping after just moving to San Francisco and asking her if I could help with anything is the office. The rest is history. I started out as a Jr Processor and moved quickly to becoming the Loan Administrator/Loan Manager for the entire brokerage. My base of knowledge training comes from that background. I know mostly everyone at the banks well and I know how to get a loan through the process quickly and smoothly with a smile on everyone's face. I know how to underwrite all aspects of a loan with fine detail and that's keeps surprise decisions from lenders very limited. I have also developed an extensive knowledge of many lenders wholesale programs and niches. I continue to educate myself on them to stay abreast in this tumoltous lending environment.
I have been brokering my own loans for over 6 years. Currently, I am working primarily with real estate Investors and first time home buyers looking to find good deals in this down market. I have extensive knowledge of dealing with REO companies and negotiating short sales. I am also well versed with Jumbo loans as my primary market is Marin/San Francisco where the average home prices are $750,000+. My focus with clients is to educate them on all facets of their loan. Knowledge is power and my clients come away from a closing feeling that THEY made the decision on the loan and rate that works best for their financial future.
