I began the mortgage business by mistake in 2001. As a finance student, I needed an internship and none of the local stock brokerages offered internships that paid. As the typical college student paying his own way, I had accumulated some bills during college and partying, so I needed to earn money during my internship. Fortunately, I was offered a position at a local mortgage company which counted towards college credit and my mortgage career was born. When I began the mortgage biz, I had no clue what it was all about , nor did I realize how rewarding it could be on so many different levels.
