Jason, thanks for the excellent advice! We recently sold our old house and were looking to lower our payments on our new house. Our present lender offered a refi with several thousand dollars due for closing costs. Jason reviewed our situation and suggested that our best option was to pursue a recast of our present mortgage with our current lender. And if the lender would not recast to call him back and he'd find someone who could. Customer service at it's best!
