Hi there! I am sure that most people really dont want a breakdown of my life story, so I will try to keep to the salient points here. My name is Ethan, I have been in the mortgage field for a little over 5 years now. I was a bartender at a fine dining steakhouse when I was recruited to get into the mortgage business, and did both jobs full time for a year until I felt comfortable letting the bar biz go. The end of 2003 through 2006 in Sacramento was probably the hottest time to get into the real estate business, but unfortunately, everyone and their brother was getting into the game. Cold calling was at an all time high, door knocking was considered to be an effective tool, and the average homeowner received 35 pieces of mail regarding a refinance on a monthly basis! Thats not the way that I have run businesses in the past, but I was told it was the way to go, much to my chagrin. After going to countless seminars regarding making millions in the real estate field, I stumbled upon Buffini and Company, a coaching company that is the gold standard for business coaching in the US right now. The concepts of a referral based business made total and complete sense to me, and I immediately went about restructuring my business model to working solely by referral. I truly enjoy working with people that I like, and enjoy nothing more than helping a client that is referred to me. I am never to busy for any of your referrals, by the way... =) At the same time, I also decided that since education is always the key, I would commit myself to being as well versed in my field as I could possibly be. I enjoy the challenge of continuing education, which is crucial in this field and in this market!!
I have been fortunate to work with some phenomenal people in this industry, and have made some connections that I will always value. The range of loan programs that I am able to accommodate range from FHA and First Time Home Buyers programs to High LTV Commercial and Industrial lending, as well as everything in between. If I dont have the best loan option for you, I know the person who does.... *GRIN*. With that being said, MBS Live has been an amazing upgrade to the information that I have been the recipient of over the last few years, and the wealth of information that can be found on this Forum is truly incredible!
