Jim Leonard is a native of Santa Cruz who graduated from Harbor High School in 1975. He then attended the University of Santa Clara where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Commerce. Following graduation he went on to a successful nine year career in professional football. During his tenure in the NFL he played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, San Francisco 49ers, and the San Diego Chargers. After forced retirement from football due to injuries, Jim decided to channel his energies to becoming a mortgage loan professional of the highest standards. 20 years later Jim is still one of the most highly regarded mortgage professionals in Northern California. Jim is currently the president of Jim Leonard’s Mortgage Connection, Inc., head quartered in Scotts Valley, CA.
