    Phone Lines on My Property
Southern California Edison recently improved phone lines behind my house and instead of taking down the old telephone poll they placed a new one on my property. The existing one was on my neighbors property line. I was in the process of doing a remodel of my garage and moving to the back of my property line. Now the telephone poll is interfering with a few feet of space. Can anything be done about this? Thank you

Most utilities have an easement over some portions of most properties for access and installation of services.  You need to find out what easements they have.  You can look on your deed to the property or look at your title policy.  Or you may need to go to the county courthouse to see what is recorded.  if you know where the property line is then you can measure to where the pole was placed to make sure that they didn't place it outside of the easement.

Hmmm.... if I were in the middle of a remodel and a neighbor, utility Co, aliens....put something on my property that had an adverse affect....think I might jump up and down and up and down. Not post on a mortgage site AFTER the fact.
