    I got something in the mail today offering a 4.825 rate. I called the phone and a guy mentioned there are no points and I would only pay the normal fees (escrow, taxes, etc).

    Is this a legit company? He sent paperwork asking for my financial information.

    Never heard of them...I'd recommend a BBB search, a google search, a consumer complaint search, etc...

    furthermore, I'd recommend using the directory tab on this site in order to work with a Reputable individual and a Reputable company.
