While on a conference call with NAMB a few weeks ago, they mentioned there is a new "rule" coming that will remove the mini-eagle requirements for brokers. they mentioned that Brokers will no longer be required to be approved and can originate FHA Loans. Supposedly the lender you submit to will be the sponsoring lender and that is all that will be required. Since then, I have not been able to find out any more information regarding this (likelihood, ETA, etc). Does anyone have insight on this?
