Where can I find small subdivisions that were or are under foreclosure?

Best bet is to research (or pay someone to research) your local registry of deeds. Some counties are available online for free or for minimal cost. A subdivision can be relatively easily identified once you pull clusters of foreclosures.

Contact local banks and local savings and loans.  Many of these lenders have made lots of subdivision loans and would like to unload REO.  A few calls asking about available REO should uncover some in your area.
