It's that time of year again folks. Time to plant those seeds and Grow Some!
Just curious as to what most Grow, if they are Growing Some?

I like tomato's---have a nice spot in the front yard that should yield a couple pounds of some.

    Any other's growing some?

Hot Peppers. Lots of em. In true stereotype fashion, I like them with my pasta. Nice weather lately in Ohio. Gonna be a nice crop this year.

I'm growin' some in AZ...tomatoes, corn, zucchini, radishes and onions.  Trying a pomegranate bush this year too.  (actually, my husband is Mr. GreenJeans, I just enjoy the fruits of his labor)

Hot pepper addict here. My order from chileplants.com will be here on May 11th. Jalapeno, tabasco, red savina habanero, chocolate habanero, biker billy, and serrano.

For anyone who likes hot pepper powder on their food. Dried and ground tabasco is the best there is. Much hotter than cayenne but no strong flavor like habanero.

Nothing like walking out to the garden and picking whatever it is you've grown to add some fresh flavor to the store bought food.  And it is a nice diversion from mortgages.

Bob, I really thought this thread was going to have a different theme when I saw the title.  Awfully quiet in the forums last night and today... any insight???

I agree Kent.  I enjoy fresh herbs and tomatoes myself.

Not sure why so quiet....but I think that's when Growing Some works best...quiet time. Serene.

    Bob,

It's doing great so far.  I'd heard they do quite well in AZ so I thought I'd give it a try.    Should be fun.

    Kent,

I thought it the thread was going to have a different theme too, but it's a nice change from some of the sniping going on in other posts.  And you're right it is a nice diversion.

As to the quiet, I'm thinking maybe a lot of us are REALLY busy lately doing what we do best - doin' loans and makin' people happy.

Here in MN, we only have a short time to grow some.  We have to take advantage of every day.

Ahhh serene...it is nice to listen to the quiet.
