The Eagles have sure made this a good game here in the 2nd half.  What was looking to be a complete blow out is now great entertainment.

Well, the stage is set.  Arizona vs Pittsburgh.  A couple of people have told us the outcome[:'(], so I don't know if there is any reason to watch, but I will anyway.

    Any predictions on score?

I have said it all along watch out for the Steelers, I predict Steelers winning their 6th Super Bowl Title by a score of Pittsburgh 38 Arizona 17.  And is only if Fitzgerald and Bolden have a good game.  If we can shut down Fitzgerald which I think we can it will be more like 38 to 6.

And Stephen you should not have expected Baltimore with a rookee QB and not being able to run the ball to do any better against the #1 defense in the NFL.  Our Defense has made a lot of better offensive teams look bad this year.

Here we go Steelers here we go! Here we go Steelers here we go.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What happened to them winning on a last second field goal?

Well if you watched the game the Steelers man handled the Ravens through out the entire game, If it was not for a few dropped passes it could have been a 38 to 13.

I am feeling pretty good given my original preditions were made so long ago.  TN looks good and the Giants continue to find ways to win... not pretty, but they do get the W.

Hey Kent are a still feeling good?  LOL

Yeah I hear ya. I never expected Pittsburgh to be in the Super Bowl with the offense and lack of running game.  Our defense is just incredible and Ben has managed the offense just enough to get the win, he has become patient and takes what the defense will give him.

I like our chances in the Super Bowl even though Whisenhunt knows our offense to a point.

Well, the old adage is that defense wins championships, so I thin Pittsburgh has a good chance.  The Arizona D just doesn't do it for me.

Very nice.  What do you need to happen to win the pool?

to win? pick the winner straight up.

well. i figure most of the 5 will take the favorite.

i figure i will too and place a straight up wager on the dog to hedge [ legally, in vegas ;-) ].... might win both bets.

basically, i have to make my pick friday. then on saturday i will know how everyone picked.

if we all pick pitt, then we all split the money.... win or lose. if one or two take the dog because of the longshot odds of splitting the pot 1 or 2 ways, then i really have to hedge because i would get nothing if zona wins.

    make sense?

Not bad at all.  Did the pool start at the beginning of the season?

Surprising that only 5 of you are left; all anyone had to do was pick against Detroit.  lol

LOL... yeah. who knew. i kept expecting them to pull off a win.

this was a second chance pool. started about mid season. the main pool had about 750 or so entered. we split that 4yrs ago(i think) the last time pitt won against seattle.

the main pool got down to less than 1% on jan 4 and those left all agreed to split the pot 5 ways.
