Not quite sure what you mean by "no doc" but if you mean Stated Income mortgages and you are self-employed and you live in NJ, NY, CT there is still one program available.  Please understand there are some restrictions so feel free to contact me if you meet the above guidelines and I will be more then happy to explain this in further detail.

if you don't want to pay taxes, then you can't get a loan these days...(at least, not at an attractive rate)

There are some portfoilo banks and private equity lenders that will finance up to 50-60% of a home using very little income or asset documentation. Commercial loans also lean more heavily on the profit of the property and not the assets of the individual . . . but only if the individual has his or her own cash to bring to the table ("skin in the game"). For the most part, loans without documentation are not widely available anymore.

With the limited amount of information in regards to what your looking to accomplish in the refinance, I can let you know that there have been sucess with Freddie Mac to Freddie Mac du refi plus options.  Appraisal waiver in addition to that.
