National Home Loan Advocates announces a Mortgage Lender Accreditation(TM) program to help consumers find mortgage lenders that operate in the best interest of borrowers and conduct their business according to the NHLA Lender Code of Ethics.

NHLA (www.NationalHomeLoanAdvocates.com) is a mortgage advocacy company, not a lender, and works in the best interest of consumers by providing expert, independent assistance through the mortgage process, while also offering consumer friendly lenders a platform to be easily identified and accessible by the public.

As part of NHLA services, mortgage lenders and individual loan consultants can earn the NHLA Accredited Mortgage Lender(TM) status by demonstrating an established record of working in the best interest of consumers and committing to the NHLA Lender Code of Ethics.

"The mortgage marketplace, as any marketplace, has consumer friendly businesses and not so consumer friendly businesses," says David Dickey, NHLA Founder and CEO. "We offer our Advocate Accreditation Program to provide consumer friendly lenders a platform to differentiate themselves from the others, while helping consumers find them," adds Dickey.

"While we do not refer consumers directly to a specific lender, we do help consumers discern the mortgage marketplace and find lenders who have made a commitment to have their best interest in mind," says Dickey.

Garrison LaMothe, Managing Member of Affirm Home Loans in Dallas, TX recently earned the NHLA Accreditation. "We know consumers have very few resources to identify the best brokers and lenders in their community and we feel strongly that NHLA gives them a great way to identify the right companies to work with," says LaMothe.

National Home Loan Advocates is accredited by the Better Business Bureau and is seeking to restore consumer confidence in the housing and mortgage marketplaces by making it safer for consumers to navigate. NHLA is partnering with consumers, real estate professionals, and lenders to enhance transparency, full disclosure, and ensure fair home loan terms are accessible and equally obtained.
