One thing that is consistent in the mortgage industry is change. In adition to the HVCC and disclousres guidelines, every lender will interpet the guidelines differently from another lender. My best recomdationis to stay proactive and well informed with who you are working with regardless of fhaor conventional.

I think that HVCC is a thing of the past. The elimination of yield spread s is the major issue that will hurt the industry in a way that it will be almost impossible to compete.
The realtor have the political muscle and they will eliminate the HVCC. The big banks may keep it anyway.
