In your opinion, will Mortgage rates drop again?

I know there is a lot of optimism at the moment that we may have reached the bottom and the only recession recovery is ahead but I still find the unemployment rate shockingly high which can only bring bad things. ( more foreclosures, less spending)

My vote is its going to be a "W". False sense of optimism, large detachment from reality.

I think the only people seeing this as the bottom are the same ones who denied that the market was ever reaching a peak.

Man, I'm still waking up today. What does V & W stand for? And Ken, are you saying you think this wasn't the bottom and since the economy is still tanking, unemployment at an all time high, and Detroit homes going for $12k that rates will drop again?

V & W are descriptions of the type of recovery.  Will it bounce back like a V or will it have a false rally, drop and then recover like a W.

I think $12,000 might be overpaying in DetroitHmm and I don't think our economy is in a true recovery yet.
