Don't know if this is appropriate but...

I was wondering about another mortgage blog website so I hope it's ok to ask  here.  A year or two ago I read a site that had a similar name.  The guy had 2 main parts to his site, one where he talked about the mortgage market to professionals (with terms and concepts that were a bit complicated) and one where he broke it down to simple terms for average users.

He also had a final statement every day saying suggesting whether to lock or not depending on how far out your closing was.

Does anyone know what that site is?

I believe you have returned to the same site.  There have been a lot of changes to the content and interface in that past 6 months. 

Check out the Blogs/News section above.  The Mortgage Rate Watch area is for consumers and the MBS Commentary is geared toward mortgage professionals.

Weird... maybe it is.  I thought the address was right but it does look so different.  Thanks for pointing out the different parts of the blog for me, I had thought those were just links to other sites...

Kent is right.  You are describing the older version of this website.

Here's a link to a site which I believe the author only considers the 10YR Treasury.  so, it's not as accurate as this one.  But a lot of times the verbage is good, ie, for passing on to borrowers.    Also, a link to the SIFMA site which shows MBS action on a 15 minute update.
