This is my opinion and those that support the NAMB more power to ya.
I think the NAMB is a worthless organization just there to collect dues and blow smoke. Where was the NAMB when Barny Fife (Frank) said that it was those damn mortgage brokers who caused the mortgage crises and the bank failures. Where was the NAMB when the media around the world slammed mortgage brokers. The NAMB never stood up and said in the media that the mortgage broker is not at fault they just offered the loan products that were available, the Lender's underwriter approved the loans. The Banks and the Wall Street investment groups set the product guidelines so don't blame the mortgage broker for the Bank executives failures.
Why didn't the NAMB stand up for the membership.
The Mortgage Bankers association has the muscle, the NAMB is like a fly on the wall just siting there waiting to be smashed against the wall by the Mortgage Bankers association.
