Question about Adjustable Rate Rider and Rider to Note

    Hello,

I was wondering if someone could help me.

I have questions about the Adjustable Rate Rider and the Rider to the Note.

My question is this--- If someone signs only the Security Instrument-- are they also reequired to sign the Adjustable Rate Rider and the Rider to the Note?

The Adjustable Rate Rider looks like it is to help secure the Note.

The Rider to Note  says that "it shall be deemed to amend and supplement both the Note and Mortgage(security instrument)

    Thanks for any info,

    Hi,

I just completed a transaction where the client's husband was remaining on title and was required to sign the Deed of Trust (security instrument here in CA) and the adjustable rate rider to that DOT since-as you mentioned-it was a  supplement to the DOT and therefore made part of it.  Yes it would have to be signed as well.

    Hope that helps.
