I would LIKE to see the Jets against the Eagles.  The Jets were my AFL team and the Eagles my NFL team.  Unless Philadelphia goes 5-1 or something, they are sitting home eating CHUNKY soup come playoff time.  So, I would like to see the Jets & Panthers as both are likely to make the playoffs.

One of my LOs did a loan for a member of the SBIII champions a few years ago.  My favorite loan of all time.

No, but I copied his football card for the file before it went to underwriting.

Hopefully he didn't have to use stated stats...

He was a lineman.  They didn't have stats on the backs of their cards, then.

Very cool.  A man who worked for a living in the NFL... and they didn't get paid squat.  He must have truly loved the game.

I'm dealing with a company where the owner has a World Series ring...He was called up from the minors the morning before the series started, got up to bat one time, they picked off a runner at first(never took a pitch), they won, he got the ring and never played again, been an LO ever since...

    J-E-T-S! JETS! JETS! JETS!

Well, I think it just officially got very difficult for Miami to make the playoffs.  Buffalo is now 6-5.  Baltimore is going to be 7-4 along with New England.  Colts will probably join them.  The Jets are 8-3.

After this Sunday the Jets will have a 2 game lead over the Patriots.  Looking at the next 5 teams that the Jets play they can finish at 13 and 3.

Just like in the 70's the road to the Super Bowl this year goes thru Pittsburgh and the Steel Gate is closed.  We have the rest of the NFL right where we want them.  Our Offense will come around about the end of the season then take off like a bull with his tail on fire.

Although both teams can easily be upset, right now it looks like the Giants and the Jets are going to make it an all-NY Super Bowl.

    That isn't going to happen.

My gut tells me that Dallas is finally going to hit it's stride and knock off the Giants. Dallas is a zero if Romo gets hurt, though. The Packers have no prayer at all. Arizona looks like the only other team that can score enough to make the Giants work hard. I have no clue why Washington isn't playing better.

In the AFC, the Jets have only one team to beware of and it isn't the completely-inconsistent Pittsburgh team... It's the Baltimore Ravens. You heard it here first, but I'd still take Brett and the Jets if I had to put money on that one game. Outside shot is the Colts, but their receivers are looking old and slow right now. They need to focus on that new guy, because Harrison is playing like crap. New England is still okay, but I don't see them winning 4 straight in a playoff atmosphere this year.

I'm wary of the Ravens, because defense wins championships, but I'm liking the Jets because they have more of a total package. Brett has a lot of weapons on that team and the young guys are responding to him with a passion. Stuckey is looking good and Leon Washington is awesome so far. The D-backs are in lockdown mode. Their main hole is at kicker and that will be a problem in bad weather, but not in a Super Bowl.

I think the Jets' D was sufficiently angry with itself for surrendering late scores in both halves and a 2 point conversion to allow the Patriots to take the game to OT.  There was no such letdown yesterday.  I do not think they will run the table, but 4-1 the rest of the way would not surprise me.  And that should be enough to get past Pittaburgh for the bye.  Baltimore may make me look foolish and take the other WC spot from the Patriots or Colts, but based on this weekend past, here is my seeding prediction: 1. Tennessee 2. New York 3. Pittsburgh 4. Denver 5. Indianapolis 6. Baltimore

And if that is the case, Pittsburgh will be mighty tired if they live to fight another day.
