Our current coupon 5.0 moved to the highs of the day and touched the ceiling of resistance which pushed it back a couple ticks. Everyon is pretty clear to be floating, but evaluate all loans at lender cut off. If we see a sell off, we will post back to...

Today is a very light day for economic data with the only relevant report being pending home sales index at 10am est., this report is unlikely to have much affect on mortgage backed securities. So far this morning, mbs are up 4 ticks from close yesterday...

I have just recieved an email from a reliable source that is also stating that this new program will be for purchase loans only and not refinances. As rates are already at historic lows, the treasury feels people can refinance already into a low rate...

This morning has started out in a negative way following yesterdays move lower. Mortgage backed securities are down 10 ticks after yesterdays 5 tick move downward. This will cause lenders to increase rates by about .125%. We did receive some reports today...

No economic reports will be released today and the bond market closes at 2pm est. Currently mortgage backed securities are down about 5 ticks from close on Wednesday in very low volume. Days like today are historically very low volume with most traders...
